Footy Day Project - 2021

Footy Day is an FGPS tradition that we have run for decades. Normally, students dress up in their team colours and we have a whole school parade where everyone can show their team pride. This is followed by a Staff VS Grade 6 student football match, and a whole school footy day lunch put on by the amazing Mrs Sammut in the Canteen.

During the Pandemic, we cannot celebrate Footy day the traditional way. Instead, staff and students have made videos and taken photos of themselves in their team colours! These photos and videos have been stiched together into what we call the Footy Day Project.

We hope you enjoy this year's video.

REMOTE LEARNING UPDATES

Due to lockdown restrictions, Fountain Gate Primary School remains closed until further notice.

Classes are taught via remote learning for Prep - 6 students.

Students in Years Prep - 4 should have collected a learning pack from the school. This pack contains work to get through the remainder of Term 3.

Students in Years 5 & 6 have work posted for them weekly on Google Classroom.

All students have access to their teachers on Google Classroom from Monday to Friday.

If you are an essential worker and need to have your student come onsite for any part of the week, please contact the office to organise the details.

If you require any technical support or have questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office on 9703 1187

We look forward to having all of our students and staff back at school as soon as is safe to do so.

Stay safe, stay home, and please get vaccinated if you can.
